Dagara is a coastal village in Baliapal block of Baleswar district of the Indian state of Odisha.[1][2]

Dagara, Chaumukha and Aladiha are the three coastal villages in Baliapal Block broadly used to mention about the closer seaside and beach. The beach also special with the presence of other beaches like Chandipur and Talasari of Baleswar district with red crabs, silvery sand, casuariana forest.people from various parts also visit to enjoy the pleasant picnic spot specially in Christmas n new year. Recently Beach festival is also started.Fishing by small Boats with the local fisher flock is very interesting.Odisha state government has signed mou with chennai based pvt company to make a port named subarnarekha port.

The nearest bus stop to reach Dagara is Kalipada

(9 km). Dagara is 64 km from Baleswar.  rail connecton isJaleswar (58 km). Another railway station Basta is 25km from here. Nearest airport is Bhubaneswar.and Kolkata.Though it is not so well connected by rail but Ac/Non Ac Bus transportation is there to Balasore,Bhubaneswar,cuttack Rourkela n various parts of odisha.

You can also stay at Chandipur and book a car to travel to Dagara. It will take only about 2 hours to travel.
