Extent

As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 109 Daraunda (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Daraunda and Siswan community development blocks; Phalpura, Laheji, Mandarapali, Sahuli, Telkhthu, Hasanpura, Pakadi, Rajanpura and Harpur Kotwa gram panchayats of Hasanpura CD Block.[1]

Daraunda (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 18 Siwan (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]

Results

In the 2010 state assembly elections, Jagmato Devi of JD(U) won the Daraundha assembly seat defeating her nearest rival Binod Kumar Singh of RJD.[2]
