That picture is crazy. Did you take that picture... Where? When? Is it a recent sign? It is so rasist Reaspond,...... Where??? It's a cool picture though! Laurathebora2301:09, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, at the time I took that photo, the laws it proclaimed were no longer in force. They were already phasing out these types of Apartheid by that time; nonetheless there were no non-white people swimming on the beach. I wonder if there would be now? I'd like to think so. --Guinnog07:36, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think they ever had signs that bad, even though I know they had a form of segregation there for a while! --Guinnog17:45, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
USA never had these signs? Can somebody confirm? Seems like a very possible concept to me, but I'm just guessing. Piepants18:37, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Piepants[reply]
That photo is superb. I lived in Durban in 2003 and found that the white and black areas of the beach remained [unofficially] segregated, almost to a man. It was a very strange sight indeed.Hippo4318:26, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
