St Stephen's church

Great Wigborough is a village in the civil parish of Great and Little Wigborough in the Colchester borough of Essex, England, and forms part of Winstred Hundred.[1] The Civil Parish population at the 2011 Census was 246.[2]

The hamlet of Stafford's Corner lies to the northwest of the village on the B1026 road.

St Stephen's church dates from the 14th century and is a grade II* listed building. Heavily damaged in the earthquake of 1884, it was extensively restored.[3]
