ITE College West (Abbreviation: ITE CW-CK) (Formerly known as ITE West Network) is an educational institution under the Institute of Technical Education. In 2010, a single campus was built in the Choa Chu Kang and replaced its five smaller network campuses as part of ITE's "One ITE System, Three Colleges" plan. The field of focus of College West is Hospitality & Services and Automotive Technology.
History
Originally the campuses are located at Dover, Balestier, Ang Mo Kio, Bukit Batok and Clementi. All have been demolished, however the ITE Headquarters was shifted to ITE College Central. The ITE at Bukit Batok became a SHATEC campus.
New campus at Choa Chu Kang
In July 2010, the new 9.54-hectare mega-campus opened, operating four schools - the School of Business and Services, School of Hospitality, School of Engineering and School of Info-Comm Technology. At this time, several of the network campuses were closed and the courses were transferred to the campus. It was officially opened on 18 April 2011 by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.[1]
Culture & traditions
Uniform
Students are to wear the prescribed uniform. Inside the collar, there is a colour that represents different courses. Students are required to be in Physical Outfit for Physical Activities, students can/will change back to school uniform after Physical Activities. The Physical Education T - Shirt is a plain white shirt with 2 strips of the course colours. The colours below represents different types of courses :
- Green - School of Electronic & Info Comm Technology
- Yellow - School of Business and Service
- Orange - School of Engineering
- Dark Purple - School of Hospitality
Activities
Students can participate in many activities organised by Clubs, Committees, and community service societies. Outstanding grades are scored for CCA also contribute to CCA bonus points for ITE graduates progressing to ITE higher nitec courses / polytechnic diploma courses.

Traineeship
ITE College West has traineeship course. Traineeship course consist of experience trainer, ITE and the person who sign up for traineeship. It helps to gain a head start in career, will receive a certificate as a full-time student but will receive an additional certificate.Once the person who sign up for traineeship gets accepted, training will start immediately.Traineeship has different of varieties of different courses and different course needs different criteria to enter.
