Ichinoseki Station (一ノ関駅) is a JR East railway station located in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture, Japan.

Station structure

The station has two Shinkansen platforms serving two tracks and two conventional line platforms serving three tracks.

History

  • April 16, 1890: Station is opened, and service on what is now the Tōhoku Main Line is started.
  • July 26, 1925: Service on the Ōfunato Line is started.
  • June 23, 1982: Service on the Tōhoku Shinkansen is started.
