LGBTQ rights in Antigua and Barbuda
StatusIllegal[1]
PenaltyUp to 15 years imprisonment[1]
Gender identity-

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons in Antigua and Barbuda face legal challenges not experienced by non-LGBT citizens. Same-sex sexual acts are illegal in Antigua and Barbuda. Male and female same-sex sexual acts carry a penalty of 5 years imprisonment.[1] Buggery (anal sex) carries a penalty of 15 years.[1]

United Kingdom law does not apply, therefore a 1995 law criminalizing homosexual acts is enforceable.[2]
