- ^ Since 1915 to 1919 the Italian football championship has been interrupted as consequence of the First World War. The 1916 Federal Championship is not recognized by the Italian Football Federation (its statistics are not included in this article). Since 1943 to 1945 the Italian football championship has been interrupted as consequence of the Second World War. The 1944 War Championship wasn’t recognized by FIGC until 2002. In 1945-46 season the top level of Italian football has been composed for two groups with FIGC Serie A and B teams playing together. 1944 War Championship and Serie A 1945-46 season statistics are included in this article.
