Maples is an unincorporated community in Jefferson Township, Allen County, Indiana.

History

A post office was established at Maples in 1854, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1921.[2] The community was named for Lewis S. Maples, a lumber baron.[3]

Maples is located at 41°00′46″N 84°58′09″W / 41.01278°N 84.96917°W / 41.01278; -84.96917.
