Mostarska Bijela is a mountain creek in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Despite its small and short flow, this river takes a significant place in Bosnia and Herzegovina's geology and hydrology.

Rare geology

The Mostarska Bijela is a tributary of the Neretva river. It flows into the Neretva from the left in the region of Grabovica[disambiguation needed] and Salakovac villages. Creek the Mostarska Bijela shapes a rare and unique karstic geological formation also known as sinking river (underground river), draining waters of particular sections of river flows underground. What is unique in case of the Mostarska Bijela is that part of this underground section is traversable. That makes this canyon and underground flow also attractive for speleologist, mountaineers and canyon-ing sport.
