The National Council of Trade Unions (NACTU) is a national trade union center in South Africa. It has a membership of 397,000 and was formed by the merger of the Council of Unions of South Africa (CUSA) in 1986 and the Azanian Confederation of Trade Unions (AZACTU).[1]: 488 

The NACTU is affiliated with the International Trade Union Confederation.
