Phipps Bend Nuclear Power Plant is a cancelled nuclear power plant of the Tennessee Valley Authority. The Tennessee Valley Authority board voted on August 6th, 1981[1], to defer construction of this power plant in Surgoinsville. Construction has not yet been resumed, and the project is presumed to be cancelled.
