The Portugal national handball team is the national handball team of Portugal. It is governed by the Portuguese Handball Federation and takes part in international team handball competitions. The Portuguese squad achieved minor results at international level, but has qualified three times for the World Men's Handball Championship, and reached the 12th place in the 2003 edition, when they hosted the competition.
