Fan page?
[edit]Is this an encyclopedia entry or a fan page? It's a little bit too complimentary. Olivix 01:52, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Reply from Jono 15:49, 23 January 2007 (UTC) Hi, this is a direct translation of the french article which you will find on fr.wikipedia.org I did not write the original article and by translating have simply provided an english version for people to work on and develop, previously, there was very little information on Emilie Simon. Please feel free to make any contribution whatsoever to improve the article if you are dissatisfied.
Reply from jdcc This looks to me like it is essentially plaigerized from the wiki at last.fm <http://www.last.fm/music/Emilie+Simon/+wiki> which is a fan page, with other things put in. Of course, there is a possibility that the reverse is true, that last.fm has cloned text from an earlier edit of this page. That's not a bad thing, but yes, this is a fan page.Jdcc 23:49, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
The March of the Empress??
[edit]What is this section about? It seems to be poorly translated, and directly contradicts the material above it? 129.105.171.131 (talk) 21:55, 13 November 2008 (UTC)bad@sixbynine.com
Free images on article
[edit]I've removed all the "fair-use" images per policy (i.e., be very harsh on fair-use images if there are free content images) and put two free-content images on. There are a couple more on the fr: version of the article, but they really weren't very good shots IMO (others may disagree) - David Gerard 22:30, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Performance of her music
[edit]I don't know where to find the information, but I would like to know a lot more about the tools she uses to reproduce the sounds of her album in concert. I once saw a YouTube video with a man in her band manipulating sound via empty space enclosed in a large, ornate picture frame. Also, she often wears a big, Steampunky contraption on her arm and I get the impression that she uses it to manipulate the audio of her vocals. Jacqui★ 16:59, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
