page move[edit]

I think there's a confusion/mistake here. There was supposed to be a WORLD gay parade which had strong opposition to and was cancelled because of the conflict eventually. That was cancelled and over. But this event is the event that takes place every year for a few years now and it's the own Jerusalem Israeli event, unrelated to the world parade. Maybe i'm wrong but you should verify this probably. I'd also suggest to make this about Israeli gay parades, then jerusalem gay parades and probably link to the world event somehow rather than focus on this year's alone which could probably be a section within the main article. My 2 cents worth. Amoruso 21:55, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

What I suggest is either (1) make a redirect (2) make it a huge section on a general israel/jerusalem gay parade - it will be the biggest thing in it anyway (3) retain the whole article and then a link to main if you feel it'll be long enough in itself. btw, I don't know why there's an objection to this event, I don't understand why it should bother anyone IMO. Rename[edit]

I think the title "gay parade" is misleading and does not follow the universal mission of gay pride parades. The word "pride" is notable and important in the context of pride parades, and dropping it from what was called in Hebrew מצעד הגאווה is a mistake. This article should be named 2006 Jerusalem gay pride parade. LeaHazel : talk : contribs 17:28, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
