I am sure there is a better title

[edit]

I am equally sure that the community can create that title by consensus. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:05, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What if we named it "2021 Hillcrest Primary School accident" ? SparklingSnail (talk) 17:04, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Incident would be more appropriate due to the established negligence of Taz-Zorb and the Education Department 2001:8003:1443:F00:B8BE:8F2B:193D:EA8D (talk) 09:04, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also updates needed with Worksafe charge against Taz-Zorb, and remommended charges against the principle and AST which and department, which the DPP chose to ignore. 2001:8003:1443:F00:B8BE:8F2B:193D:EA8D (talk) 09:06, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 17 November 2022

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: Moved to 2021 Hillcrest Primary School accident. Consensus within the discussion is to move from the current title. However, there's no consensus within the current discussion on which title to move to. Going by WP:NOTCURRENTTITLE, I took the previous discussion into account as well, and conclude a move to 2021 Hillcrest Primary School accident. Hillcrest Primary School Tragedy (Australia) → ? – Contains an unnecessary disambiguator (no other such tragedy internationally to distinguish from), and non-standard capitalisation (of "tragedy"). People have been asking for an article name change since July but nobody filed until now. However, I can't come up with a better title myself. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! do a bold move and redirect it Pyraminxsolver (talk) 00:04, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi all, I’m just going to make my contribution as the original author of the article. Thanks for bringing this discussion forward as I’m not particularly familiar with the intricacies of Wikipedia editing. The original event was widely referred to as (the) tragedy in the media, by the vast majority of news outlets. The other word that was commonly used to describe this event was (the/an) incident, which I personally believe may represent the incident better from a local’s perspective, however, whether this falls within Wikipedia guidelines, I’m unsure.
