Founding date of Abbey of Kells?[edit]

So was the Abbey founded in the 9th century CE as stated in the first paragraph of the page, or in 554 CE as stated in the second paragraph? (talk) 03:26, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

Article Style[edit]

It seems this article is almost entirely about the book of Kells. I would like to know more about the Abbey itself, when it was abandoned, what purpose it served in the region, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 08:31, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
