Talk: Akari Saho

[edit]

I will rewrite this page to meet the criteria required to keep it on Wikipedia. I'm not exactly sure what needs to be rewritten. I changed the trivia yesterday. I will write a history of Akari Saho, if this is what is required. Magical Girl Fan (talk) 11:54, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Magical Girl FanMagical Girl Fan (talk) 11:54, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

From what I can see from the article: there's a trivia section (should be avoided according to WP:TRIV); the profile is written in bullets, and not in prose (try to follow WP:MOS); and, you didn't cite any sources, which is really importanct (WP:RS). But don't worry, I think you're doing well. Just familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and you'll do fine. ^.^ Eugh jei Kaorin 06:22, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So I've noticed people have added categories to the Akari Saho page. But have all my revisions to the article itself kept this from being "written like an advertisement"? Magical Girl Fan (talk) 23:41, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Magical Girl Fan[reply]

I am not involved with the subject personally or professionally. I only wanted an article about Akari Saho to be on Wikipedia. Akari has been a member of Hello! Project since 2004, as member of Hello! Pro Egg, and also in three groups. Of these groups, Shugo Chara Egg! was created to sing the theme songs of the SHUGO CHARA! anime series, which is popular with fans worldwide. Akari also replaced Reina Tanaka in the group Aa! Hello! Project and / or Up-Front Agency must've realized that Akari was a talented singer and dancer, and very worthy of being Reina's replacement in this group. Akari has many fans worldwide. For these reasons I believe this article should remain. Magical Girl Fan (talk) 03:28, 3 March 2011 (UTC)Magical Girl Fan[reply]

Claims of conflict of interest

[edit]

I think the claims of conflict of interest on this page are clearly mistaken. It seems that User:Magical Girl Fan moved his user page here when starting this article, which was an odd editing choice, but most likely just occured by mistake or a lack of experience editing this page. It is extremely unlikely that a Japanese child idol singer would be writing on the English Wikipedia in fluent English. In addition, the user page that was moved here suggests that User:Magical Girl Fan was watching anime when Akari Sato would have been very young, including Cardcaptors, the U.S. version of Cardcaptor Sakura that was on U.S. TV in 2000-2001. Perhaps Akari Saho lived in the U.S. when she was 5 years old and then moved to Japan, but I find that suggestion extremely unlikely. Furthermore, User:Magical Girl Fan has stated above that she is not related to the subject. I think it is clear that this is just a case of User:Magical Girl Fan trying to start an article and not knowing how to do it properly and ending up with her user page at the article title, and that she is not at all related to the subject of the article.
