Picture
[edit]I have added a screenshot of a lecture by Baker, and have tried to justify my doing so in the respective page. Please do not refrain from removing it if it is found to be an infringement, but let us discuss it first, for I shall need as much clarification as possible. If Baker's image is allowed to stay, I can also add a similar one for Tim Gowers. (unidentified writer)
- I've replaced this by the much better photo used in his Trinity College obituary, having obtained agreement from the photographic company concerned who have sent in their CC licensing consent. I've been trying to include the copyright information used on the college web page by including in the source code 'caption = Photo courtesy of JET', but this text refuses to appear in the article. Can anyone explain/fix this?--Brian Josephson (talk) 18:02, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Another oddity, which may be connected, is that changing the image_size parameter seems to have no effect on the image size.--Brian Josephson (talk) 09:08, 21 February 2018 (UTC)

[edit]This edit: [1] looks much like a copy&paste of the MacTutor article. --91.32.76.130 (talk) 12:32, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Odd
[edit]The current photo seems to have been taken in the 1960's. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.141.100.64 (talk) 12:35, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- It has now been replaced with a better photograph, without slanting lines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.15.21.214 (talk) 15:57, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

A Concise Introduction to the Theory of Numbers
[edit]The list of publications seems to be of research publications. I have owned since undergraduate days, and highly recommend, Prof. Baker’s A Concise Introduction to the Theory of Numbers: should this be mentioned in the article.
