"Jeselnik has stated many times in advice to practicing beginning comedians that he believes the most important step in the career is learning to continue acts even when no one is laughing, because there is no better practice against heckling". Because he is no stranger to heckling, right? This sort of sounds like it could be true, but it also sounds like a very clever joke/attack. 202.171.168.178 (talk) 12:12, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, that's true though. That's something that a lot of comedians say and I'm sure he dealt with his fair share in the beginning. Imagine hearing his jokes if they were unpolished, a lot of people were probably offended Comatmebro ~Come at me~ 01:27, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Religion...

[edit]

that's his stand up and/or on-stage persona... is that really notable or even tru to his person, or is it similiar to the Stephen Colbert/Stephen Colbert (Character) thing? 98.198.85.83 (talk) 11:15, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's a character, but it's an extension of himself. I'm pretty sure he's an atheist.Comatmebro ~Come at me~ 18:17, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
He is a self-proclaimed Apatheist 2600:4041:2D4:1400:D140:C435:E596:75FA (talk) 01:25, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tone Issue/Bias?

[edit]

Yeah this whole article is just written as a giant Jeselnik circlejerk — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:BDCA:2700:9CD1:D180:91E9:D524 (talk) 03:44, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Influences

[edit]

I'm just curious how the list of influences was determined. I understand George Carlin -- Jeselnik spoke about him and his trimmed comedy style, but what about someone like Sarah Silverman? 76.79.135.34 (talk) 21:39, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
