Is this man really British? His attempted Cockney accent, such as in the Columbo in London episode, is atrocious and sounds as though he learnt it from Dick Van Dyke when they were both in MARY POPPINS. I reckon he's a reverse version of Hughie Green, who always claimed to be Canadian but was born and raised in England, only actually spending a few years in Canada.
