"Gayu"?
[edit]I doubt his name "Gayu". I think that "Masaari" is right as encyclopedia's entry. "Gayu" is a kind of nickname(ja:有職読み) like 藤原俊成"Shunzei", 藤原定家"Teika". I don't know English encyclopedia of persons, but I know Japanese dictionary. And there are generally written entries "あすかい(ゐ)まさあり ", "ふじわらのとしなり" and "ふじわらのさだいえ(へ)", and are not generally written "しゅんぜい" and "ていか". In particular written isn't "がゆう". Is there case that a entry of dictionary was written "Gayu"?--Mobnoboka (talk) 09:24, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Suggested move
[edit]Asukai Gayu → Asukai Gayū – WP:MOSJ. Article already uses macrons. Uncontroversial move, but I can't do it myself because the redirect is locked. elvenscout742 (talk) 06:10, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
