Love for Bergdorf[edit]

I love Bergdorf! My fave place to shop! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Randyharrisonfan (talkcontribs) 06:43, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Greetings!

There is an error in this article regarding the time that the perfume Number Nine was launched. It wasn't developed during the Andrew Bergdorf years as the following link to a print ad from 1942 indicates.

Also, any reference to the song "love potion # 9" is misleading. The love potion #9 smells like turpentine...I can assure you, Number Nine perfume does not smell like turpentine :)

Thank you in advance for making these corrections. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.59.183.127 (talk) 22:19, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Alsace = France?[edit]

The company traces its origins to 1899 when Herman Bergdorf, an immigrant from Alsace, France. I think that time Alsace belonged to the German Empire.
