Fair use rationale for Image:CNH.PNG[edit]

Image:CNH.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The first European self-propelled combine harvester[edit]

The statement that Claeys was the first European company to produce self-propelled combine harvesters is not correct. Bolinder-Munktell in Eskilstuna, Sweden launched its first self-propelled combine harvester, the MST-92 in 1951, a year before Claeys. --Sigmundg (talk) 12:42, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bold review[edit]

I am making a bold review of the page. Many content does not have a reference and the structure of the page itself is messy. Suggestions are welcome. I will also try to fix the ossue with fair use rationale.Smagliola (talk) 18:28, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Page moved to CNH (company)  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:23, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CNH GlobalCNH

  • The name with whom the company is identified is CNH, while CNH Global N.V. is the legal name. CNH Global in neither one nor the other. In Wikipedia companies are not identified usually with legal names, so CNH would be the correct one Smagliola (talk) 17:17, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Page CNH already exists and is a disambig page of (currently) 4 choices. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 21:37, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose wiping out a dab page. Choose some other title. 70.29.212.131 (talk) 04:38, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's not a matter of choosing another title, this is the company name. Can't we create a CNH_(disambiguation) page for the page currently called CNH and move this one? In my view it would be more correctSmagliola (talk) 16:10, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to CNH (company)? The other meanings of the initials CNH are also relevant. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:24, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • CNH (company) is a very good compromise. To me it is OK Smagliola (talk) 18:04, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Should this article be identified as a CNH publicity release.[edit]

This appears to be a company PR release. I cite the boring and comprehensive list of awards as an example. Only the company would know this information. There is little information that is not self serving and I suggest the article be identified for what it is. A CNH press release Nnoddy (talk) 10:34, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To merge Fiat Industrial into the new CNH Industrial page following the corporate merge. Klbrain (talk) 06:03, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fiat industrial no longer exists - it has been renamed CNH Industrial Itemirus (talk) 13:49, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. We should create another article named "CNH Industrial", company formed by the merger of the Italian "Fiat Industrial" and the Dutch "CNH Global".--Enok (talk) 18:44, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. I agree with Enok, this article should simply be updated to keep what is relevant from an historical perspective.Smagliola (talk) 18:52, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I meant; since the assets of the two companies have been consolidated into CNH Industrial, we should merge the relevant contents and create a new article.--Itemirus (talk) 18:53, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So who is going to create the new article?--Itemirus (talk) 18:58, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've already created a stub: CNH Industrial.--87.16.237.202 (talk) 16:30, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
