Camerons Brewery and Lion Brewery (Hartlepool) are both dealing with the same company. Guidelines for articles on breweries are Wikipedia:WikiProject Beer/Guidelines, which includes a naming convention. Camerons Brewery meets that naming convention, which follows other naming conventions on Wikipedia. Various guidelines, such as Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies), and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (summary style), indicate when it is appropriate to split out a new article, and it was not appropriate to split this information into two articles. Following the thinking of having a new article for each change of ownership we would have several stubs for the history of Camerons, each stub repeating the same basic information. Of course they deserve separate pages. But for now I think the two ought to be merged until their is sufficient information on the Cameron's Brewery page about the Lion Brewery to justify a split. Farrtj (talk) 17:36, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
