Merging

[edit]

What is the consenus on merging this article into Camp Delta. ant_ie 18:22, 14 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why not merge Camp Delta, Camp X-ray Camp Iguana, and Camp Echo as a subsection to Guantanamo Bay? Wouldn't it be better to have one, well-written, NPOV article, without all the mispellings and typos. Joaquin Murietta 22:17, 15 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. ant_ie 21:30, 16 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

responsible use of tags...

[edit]

Another contributor added an {{unbalanced}} tag to the article. When instantiated an unbalanced tag directs readers to a fuller explanation on the talk page. This contributor never got around to offering an explanation for this tag. I suggest this is an irresponsible use of the tag. If the tagger doesn't explain their concern good faith contributors can't know when those concerns have been adequately addressed.

If no one offers an explanation of this tag, the next time I visit this article I will remove it.

[edit]

I reverted this excision which seems to be based on a misunderstanding of the value of red-links. What the excising contributor should have done was to have clicked on the "what links here" button of Camp_Echo_(Iraq). If they had done so they would have found the red-link had instances in two real articles: Polish zone in Iraq and Multinational Division Central-South. As such the hat-note was valid and useful and should not have been removed. Geo Swan (talk) 16:37, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:REDDEAL. While red-links can be useful this one here in the hatnote is not. Red links in hatnotes are useless as hatnotes serve a navigational prupose and should be replaced or removed. See also WP:REDDEAL. IQinn (talk) 17:26, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
