Work

[edit]

Hello, this obviously needs a lot more work. I think that more categories need to be added and maybe an extended section about his album and possibly his YouTube videos. --(user:Beatlesnature)

Yes the page needs work, please sign your posts after with 4 tilde marks thanks --Darkskynet (talk) 22:26, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've added information and quotes from several reliable sources This isn't just about his recent celebrity success, it is a biography about his whole life. Cullen328 (talk) 15:14, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In which his birthday and place of birth is missing! --91.64.214.178 (talk) 19:38, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sloppy Seconds

[edit]

Did the "Sloppy Seconds" tour actually happen? If not that info should probably be added. 84.61.112.158 (talk) 05:52, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

This page was tagged as containing bare URLs. In adding full citations, I used a template for Twitter references that I found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Muhandes/cite_tweet in order to incorporate date and quote information.

I moved two citation to different places in the text to better reflect the information being cited (first moved: citation only applied to song release date, not album; second moved: citation only referred to number one status, not to the ranking or status of other albums; this second citation does not very clearly reflect the text but I don't think it is necessarily false or that there are grounds for removing it).Datdyat (talk) 16:16, 1 May 2013 (UTC) Datdyat (talk) 16:30, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fast

[edit]

Isn't he notable for being able to rap extremely fast? Or was that just that video? Maikel (talk) 16:49, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Norton Leufven

[edit]

Despite the misconception all over the internet and the difficulty in showing otherwise, Norton is NOT Watsky's cousin, therefore I amended the article. Proof: https://twitter.com/gwatsky/status/942465368328757249 He is most definitely, however, Watsky's "biological father and... hero". So then is Paul Norman Watsky an adoptive parent? Arlo James Barnes 02:27, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

George WatskyWatskyWP:COMMONNAME, not to mention the page Watsky already redirects here. No reason for his first name to be included when there is no confusion about who Watsky refers to. Sock (tock talk) 02:21, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I really don’t see how that’s comparable. Oprah’s name itsef is a brand, encompassing a network and a variety of other things. Watsky only refers to Watsky. Sock (tock talk) 22:30, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Planes

[edit]

In "Don't Be Nice" Watsky says to visit "ww.kisswatskysgluteusmaximus.com" (the third w is left out to fit the rhythm, here's a clickable link http://www.kisswatskysgluteusmaximus.com/). If you go to the website, you're greeted with an image of his naked backside floating in blue light, and the mouse becomes a pair of kiss-lips when you hover over his "gluteus maximus." When you click, a brief video plays providing some lore, and then you're redirected to /album where 8 albums are displayed. The albums contain remixes, unreleased tracks, videos, and artwork. Some of the music albums are available for free download directly from the website (just enter an amount of "Astro Blurfs" and click purchase), or can be purchased on bandcamp.

Should this be added to the main article? Where would the best place for it be?
