Improvement Needed

[edit]

This article needs major tidying up, very poor standard. Djln --Djln 23:08, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've given the clean-up a go, please reinsert your request if necessary. Poulsen 17:34, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Carlos Queiróz won the Spanish Supercup in the beginning of the season against Mallorca so the reference " first time in 4 years without trophies" is a lie.

Angolan Coach ?

[edit]

Was Queiroz ever coach of the Angola national football team ?

or are there two 'Carlos Queiroz' running around ?

Name Problems

[edit]

I think he is Portuguese. So why is it important to know how Iranians pronounce his name? please remove the Persian pronunciation. --188.34.55.247 (talk) 07:58, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction

[edit]

There is a couple of apparent contradiction in the lead and infobox, that would be better corrected, or explained. They both involve the infobox information saying Carlos Queiroz played at Ferroviário de Nampula's youth team, in 1974-1978. First, according to the article, he would be 21-25 year old by then, which is highly unlçikely to be a youth player's age. Second the article say he left Moçambique following 1974/1975 events, granted that he might have left in 1978, and thet 1978 follows 1974/75, the language seem to imply that he left right after those events, that is in 1975. - Nabla (talk) 21:06, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy

[edit]

In the previous version of an article, it said "In the return leg, the Korean staff hung Choi's photos and posters in Iranian practice fields and lockers as a form of intimidation." Nevertheless, the reference citing the sentence did not contain any information about such statement. I believe this reference might provide more detailed information regarding the controversy. Moreover, I wonder if this controversy is such a big life event of Queiroz to be posted on his bibliographical page. --210.113.154.161 (talk) 16:19, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
