Since there is more than one tea ceremony, can that be mentioned/clarified properly in the article? -Fsotrain09 20:36, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Will work it in. Exploding Boy 20:41, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hyphenation

[edit]

What is the rationale behind writing "chaki" ("tea implement") as one word but hyphenating the term "cha-ire" ("tea container")? Also, by hyphenating the term for the 'caddy' (器, ki) that is used for thin tea (薄茶, usucha) as "usu-chaki" and similarly the term for that caddy that is used for thick tea (濃茶, koicha) as "koi-chaki", the terms' meanings are not properly conveyed.Tksb (talk) 01:33, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

History of Chaki

[edit]

There's quite a jump between the end of the Ashikaga period and beginning of the Tokugawa. Without some explanation about this time gap, the statement is quite confusing.Tksb (talk) 09:11, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
