Saint Mary

[edit]

The church is called "Saint Mary of the Mongols", but does anyone know if Maria was actually beatified or canonized? --Elonka 21:27, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name of the article

[edit]

In the Orthodox tradition and especially in the Greek-Orthodox tradition the expression "Saint Mary" is non-existent: names such as "Mother of God", "Theotokos" and sometimes "Virgin Mary" are used instead. Thus the name of this article should change accordingly.Alexikoua (talk) 12:16, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
