T D Whitaker
[edit]@Peter I. Vardy: The WP article & DNB source have T D Whitaker's life as 1759–1821. Not sure if this is an error with Pevsner, do you what to check?--Trappedinburnley (talk) 00:30, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
- Mmm. I wondered if there was more than one TDW, as names tend to run in families, but I can't find one and, as he is described "the historian of Whalley", it must be the one who died in 1821. Pevsner is not without errors, as I'm sure you know, and this detail is also present in the previous (original) edition, so I guess it's just been copied across. I suggest we just delete "(who died in 1876)" from the article. Cheers. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 10:36, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
