A question of notability[edit]

The article was referenced with only non English blogs and one news story that did not support the claim being made. I did not stub the article but it may need to happen if English sources of equal validity cannot be found and possibly even AFD'd.--Mark Miller (talk) 23:15, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That's not actually correct - the language of sources is irrelevant. Although English sources are preferred if no suitable ones can be found sources in other languages are perfectly acceptable. As a member of the European Parliament the subject's Notability is not in doubt at all. Notability and sourcing are not that directly linked.
