City / district confusion[edit]

At present, this page confuses Comilla city with Comilla District. Removing information related to the district and placing it in the Comilla District - 6.01.08 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bangabandhu (talkcontribs) 12:51, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

4th largest city, 3rd largest metro?[edit]

Several times recently this article has been added to with claims of being Bangladesh's 4th largest city and/or the 3rd largest metro. Such claims need to be backed up with reliable sources. See Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources for details. Batternut (talk) 06:16, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article name change[edit]

The naming authority, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh changed the official name of the "Comilla" to "Cumilla" today to make the spelling similar to Bangla pronunciation.
