Why Shelag?
[edit]The nickname is unexplained. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.102.148.112 (talk) 18:13, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
Abrupt end
[edit]The last event mentioned in the text is her second marraige, in 1920, but she died in 1970. Did nothing happen in the last 50 years of her life? --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 15:45, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- I too wondered about that. It seems that she withdrew from public life in 1920, as I haven't been able to find a single source that describes her life after her second marriage, which is rather odd. Surtsicna (talk) 16:44, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
Surname misspelt
[edit]The article title misspells her surname - it should read LEWIS not LEWES.Cloptonson (talk) 09:22, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
Alimony settlement record
[edit]I have quoted the 1972 Guinness Book of Records (copy I possess) to indicate her alimony settlement - worth £275,730 in 2005 - was highest in British legal history at time and even into the early 1970s. Has that figure been superseded more recently (as I suspect it may) given changes in divorce laws, inflation and the size of millionaire estates in Britain are dwarfing the wealth of the 2nd Duke of Westminster?Cloptonson (talk) 09:14, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
