This is generally good, but there a couple of minor problems. I think the lead is rather dense; perhaps use some more words to explain things more clearly. Near the end of the article, the words "leading to the virtual extinction of this branch of the Doukai" seem vague: why "virtually" extinct (who survived?)? what is "this branch"?
