Avid Everton fan
[edit]Just a minor edit required but I would suggest the word avid be removed from the comment that Stallone is an avid Everton fan in the filming section. His association and support for Everton could be described, at best, as minor and purely as a result of his association with business partner Robert Elstone being an Everton director and Creed actor Tony Bellow insisting that the character Conlan be written as an Everton, rather than the originally planned Liverpool [Everton's local rivals] fan. Both cited articles refer to his visiting an Everton game in 2007 and making a speech for the Creed filming but neither suggest he is an avid fan. A more accurate description in the bracketed statement would be to change it from {of which Stallone is an avid fan} to {Stallone's favourite team}. This more accurately describes someone who has little more than a passing interest in Soccer [he is a minor fan of the game in truth] but if put on the spot to name a team he supports, would most likely say Everton, without following the club in the true sense of a fan. I just saw the film at an early screening, and I'd like to update the plot.

Little Duke...
[edit]Tony "Little Duke" Evers' is not one of Donnie's corner men nor assistant trainer...He attempts to hire Little Duke as his trainer before he leaves L.A. for Philly but Little Duke refuses to take on the job.
EDIT 12/20/16: There is a completely nonsensical line in the plot section: "He tries to get a slot at Los Angeles's elite Delphi Boxing Academy—managed by Creed's legitimate son and Johnson's half-brother, but is turned down." The academy is managed by Evers' son, and there is nothing in the film suggesting he and Creed is his half-brother. I would edit this but the article is semi-protected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:805:400:6974:7DEB:33EB:EC8A:AC8 (talk) 17:32, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
Rocky VII this is not
[edit]I've removed it from the lede. The refs are nonsense, take a proper look, and then see where the title is used. In other words, nowhere. Happy New Year. Film Fan 20:43, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
- Serijvip, I notice you're doing exactly what you did on The Force Awakens page re false AKAs. Since you won't use the talk page, I'm reporting you. The funny thing is that most of the refs you've added don't even call it by the title you're trying to add. Film Fan 18:54, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

At the end of the plot section, it says " As Jim Lampley puts it while calling the fight for HBO, "Conlan won the fight, but Creed won the night." Conlan tells Donnie that he is the future of the light heavyweight division." However, in the film, it is not Jim Lampley that says this, but Max Kellerman. So Jim Lampley's name should be changed to Max Kellerman. 67.81.15.67 (talk) 06:18, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

Why the name change?
[edit]The Internet Movie Database now lists it as Creed: The Rocky Legacy for some reason.82.43.171.99 (talk) 11:53, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
