Help!
[edit]This entry is too feeble, and I don't have access to any fresh sources, so all I can do is beg someone to come and sort it out. Examples of required corrections: Crystal did not go from busking train stations to Idol, and the statement that she only became active in 2010 is nonsense. Even from here I have YT videos that are most definitely of Crystal, dated 2008.
Please, someone, help. ThatOneGB (talk) 11:55, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Isn't this written too in favor of her?
[edit]You can't post "even though she should have won" thats a opinion not fact even though I agree--Yankeesman312 (talk) 02:16, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Mamasox
[edit]I removed Mamasox from the introduction. Its just a nickname coined by fans of hers - she doesnt use it personally or professionally, so I dont think its appropriate. I've read plenty of other nicknames for Crystal - just because this is the most common doenst mean it should be used. Saying her name is Crystal Dawn "Mamasox" Bowersox suggests thats her stage name ala Lady Gaga. I think it would be acceptable in the info box, but thats about it. Her only post idol work to date (her single) is creditted to Crystal Bowersox, and unless she becomes officially known as Mamasox I think it should remain as just her birth name. :) (Kyleofark (talk) 20:15, 27 May 2010 (UTC))
- Agreed. I don't think it needs to be on there. Hopefully as her career takes off, the name might stick as a term of endearment, but it's doubtful anyone outside of her circle would be aware of it. --Hourick (talk) 20:20, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- FWIW, Crystal has used the name "Mamasox" herself. In fact, she signed a drawing she did for the LA Times that way. See here: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/americanidoltracker/2010/05/crystal-bowersox-looks-back-on-her-time-in-lala-land.html 142 and 99 (talk) 03:34, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
Charting singles
[edit]Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've read several articles that state that more of her songs from American Idol have charted. These include "Me and Bobby Mcgee", "Black Velvet", and "People get Ready". Wouldn't these belong under the Digital Singles section? Wikiguy09 (talk) 22:18, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
Separate Discography Page
[edit]Her Discography section is becoming pretty lengthy, and will become longer when her singles start being released. Would it be okay to go ahead and make a separate discography page?--Hayden White (talk) 21:50, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Daughter
[edit]I am watching her 4/14/22 FB live performance. She's talking about having a baby daughter. This article doesn't talk about the daughter. Apparently her sister died December 2021 and she adopted her niece, Piper. Apparently, there's more about this on TikTok
