Disruptive edits by anonymous IP hopper

This article has been a target of constant disruptive editing by an anonymous IP hopper in the last 12 months, constantly removing valid, properly sourced information that makes Vallverdú look less glorious (like erasing less successful parts of his coaching career, especially right after certain "uncomfortable" events), adding promotional PR edits, using deceptive edit summaries (removing the "uncomfortable" information and explaining it as a spelling change in the edit summary) etc.

This has to stop. If this constant dishonest, disruptive PR editing and downright cheating and lying doesn't stop, I'll have to request blocking the whole IP range or protecting this article from editing by unconfirmed users.

As for his surname and its spelling, reliable Venezuelan sources say it's Vallverdú (e.g. [1], [2], [3]). Wikipedia says that Vallverdú is a a Catalan surname. If you want to prove his real name is "Vallverdu", you have to use a valid, authoritative argument based on a valid, authoritative source. The argument mentioned in the edit summary that "official documentation" (whatever it is) spells it as "Vallverdu" is completely misguided. "Official" English sources typically use simplified, English transcriptions of foreign names with special characters, for a number of reasons, mostly historic (pre-Unicode days, using English-only fonts that lack the extended characters, unavailability of the special characters on English keyboards), but nowadays it's just a habit based mainly on ignorance and/or laziness. Wikipedia does not use inaccurate English transcriptions even if they come from "official" documents, it uses real names of people where possible. In fact, this article lists a number of players formerly coached by Vallverdú like:

Tomáš Berdych. Even though his "official" ATP profile and many other sources spell his name as "Tomas Berdych", this does not change the fact that his real name is Tomáš Berdych, and Wikipedia uses his real name, as there is no technical reason that prevents Wikipedia from using it.
Juan Martín del Potro. Even though his official ATP profile and many other sources spell it as "Juan Martin", it does not change the fact that it's "Juan Martín".
Karolína Plíšková. Again, her real name is Karolína Plíšková, despite that fact that her official WTA profile and many other sources spell her name as "Karolina Pliskova".

Besides, the article should be consistent. When the article title and the majority of sections in the article spell the name as "Vallverdú", when his name is changed to "Vallverdu" in just a single paragraph, and then the change to "Vallverdú" in this single paragraph is reverted as "false information", then by far the most flattering explanation here is that the user has absolutely no clue what they're doing.—J.
