Foxy Bingo?

[edit]

What is the source for the information that he is the voice of Foxy Bingo? Is this current or past? Currently, it's definitely Adam Catterall who presents the Breakfast Show on Rock FM. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_is_the_voice_of_foxy_bingo Kateab (talk) 23:03, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest that Dave Spikey is not the voice of Foxy in the Foxy Bingo adverts. There is an advertising information website [1] that states the voice of Foxy is Adam Castrell (spelling is correct). Dave Spikey's own website [2] details his achievements so far and makes no mention of his having provided the voice. M3788e (talk) 02:38, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Corrected the post by removing incorrect information regarding the Foxy Bingo adverts. M3788e (talk) 04:08, 4 January 2010 (UTC) Removing facts because you dont like them is poor. Dave Spikey DID provide the initial voiceover for the FB ads, it is NOW AC. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.68.50 (talk) 12:39, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Year

[edit]

On List_of_people_from_Bolton it says Dave Spikey was born in 1950, on here it says he was born in 1951 and also 56. You do the maths, that isn't right. Which is right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.110.14.103 (talk) 17:12, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

His IMDb page states he was born in September 1950, a year and a month earlier than stated on this article. Werdnawerdna (talk) 19:00, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The General Register Office birth index shows Spikey was born in the Oct/Nov/Dec quarter of 1951 as David G. Bramwell, in the Farnworth district, reference 10c 142. I've corrected the birth year on List_of_people_from_Bolton. -- HLE (talk) 23:04, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Countdown

[edit]

Spikey has been appearing on Countdown (Channel 4) this week and his remarks tend to corroborate his career at the hospital.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 12:03, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
