I removed the 'Controversry' section because not only was it misleading and unnecessary it was also basically vandalism from someone with a JT Leroy/Laura A. complex/vendetta for Dennis. Anyway, as you may or may not know it turned out JT Leroy/Laura had manipulated and used Dennis, and others, in a maleficent way. And, her JT Leroy "hoax" will probably be the literary scandal of the decade. --Haruki 11:34, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
I came to this entry because I wanted to learn something about Cooper's work. All this entry is is a brief bio and a long list of publications. There is nothing here about the content of his writing. What are the major themes in his books? What are his most well-received work? What do critics think about his career? Have there been high points and low points? Answers to any of these questions would make this article most useful to readers who are curious about this author. 188.8.131.52 (talk) 19:54, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
