Untitled[edit]

I removed the 'Controversry' section because not only was it misleading and unnecessary it was also basically vandalism from someone with a JT Leroy/Laura A. complex/vendetta for Dennis. Anyway, as you may or may not know it turned out JT Leroy/Laura had manipulated and used Dennis, and others, in a maleficent way. And, her JT Leroy "hoax" will probably be the literary scandal of the decade. --Haruki 11:34, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Editor[edit]

Is the "Editor" section necessary? The information is available on denniscooper.net and seems extraneous when compared to other author wikis - Retinalsummer 08:49, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Sources to investigate[edit]

Block, Adam Source: Advocate; 7/30/91 Issue 582, p66, 3p, 2bw Abstract: Interviews gay author Dennis Cooper. Career highlights; Theme of Cooper's book 'Frisk'; Autobiographical content of the book. ISSN: 0001-8996 http://monkeychicken.com/AdamBlock/1991_7_30cooper.pdf

What about his WORK?[edit]

I came to this entry because I wanted to learn something about Cooper's work. All this entry is is a brief bio and a long list of publications. There is nothing here about the content of his writing. What are the major themes in his books? What are his most well-received work? What do critics think about his career? Have there been high points and low points? Answers to any of these questions would make this article most useful to readers who are curious about this author. 64.134.71.160 (talk) 19:54, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Edits of this date[edit]

I have called for expert attention, because the article blatently violates WP:VERIFY, and so WP:OR, and has done so, apparently since 2009 (that is, for over a half-decade). Came to the page after wikilinking another article to this one. Le Prof Leprof 7272 (talk) 03:05, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

Tags[edit]

I've removed that tags that appear to be inappropriate. I can see little evidence of original research, or of inappropriate links. It could do with a few more citations, but that doesn't merit those screaming hatnotes.  • DP •  {huh?} 13:04, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
