Peer Review[edit]

Thought your article was really good and enjoyed the information you added to this filmmakers page! I fixed some minor grammatical errors that I found, but overall the page was done very well. The information was neutral but informative and you provided a lot of context to the page. The sources seemed reliable and you got most of them through the Carleton library databases. Overall, you article was done well and needed little editing on my part.

--I also thought your article was well written and required little editing. Although, in your Inspiration section there was one part I thought might need minor adjustments: "Not only does she create positive and diverse representations of Asian women with her works but she also tells the stories of those with intersecting queer-Asian identities. For this reason, her inspiration does not come from any role models but rather the lack of visible ones present in her life.[1] She uses her work to challenge taboo topics, empower her audience, and considers her films forms of activism." (I've attached this original paragraph section in case you wish to undo my revised version)

This section sounds a tad "promotional".

Otherwise, you have a good variety of sources and provide a balanced and informative article on your chosen filmmaker. Awesome job!-- Figgy puddin (talk) 05:19, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
