Overall: Looks good. My only suggestion would be that the hook might be better to specify that he's a basketball player, e.g. 'that the Korean War allowed Don Bragg to set a UCLA basketball record for most rebounds by a varsity freshman that stood for almost 40 years?' Looks good.
