Ok, so my edit was reverted, with the rationale of "The reason for deleting does not bear on the content; this is simply making connections, not stating a direct source of inspiration"

To expand on my reason for removing the comment of "bears striking likeness to a classic scene from the 1979 Ridley Scott/Sigourney Weaver film, Alien."

As stated it's pure coincidence that the scene looks like one from a later film. To made mention of it implies intent where there is none.
Why is it notable to mention this? Where is the source to back up the claim?
It's NPOV to state "classic scene" - where is the source to back this up? Otherwise it's just yet another medical scene on a gurney - and as I point out these are hardly rare in science fiction.
