Get more info on Kavalee or merge his page with Get This. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.172.42.15 (talkcontribs)

No, there is enough information here to justify a separate article. --ozzmosis 07:51, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

Why is citation needed when Kavalee revealed this information on air on Get This on 27th Sept '06? --Ninevah 03:28, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think alot of things said on Get This are in the fantasy world ..One of Ed's comments smacks similar to Homer and the Mr Sparkle thing in relation to the Japanese/Pizza Hut thing - but hey he could be telling the truth, but hard to prove I guess --Mikecraig 03:31, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh sorry I thought this was KD Langs Wikipedia page haha

And the Kavalee/Briartore thing is pure junk, I'm guessing.121.208.24.153 12:58, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nearly everything written that seems out of the ordinary is pure junk! --Mikecraig 21:19, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If Kavalee reveals information about himself on the radio programme "Get This", then it is a fact that he has made the said claim. Therefore, it should be permissable in the trivia section at least. Will the high-and-mighty Mike Craig please take note.

I could've absolutely positively sworn that somewhere in this wiki entry, previously, it was stated (without citation) that Ed was related to Jeff Fatt from the Wiggles. Can anyone tell me what's with that? Not that it's a matter of grave importance but I think that that is a highly interesting piece of trivia, right there!

Ed enjoys the movie Shortbus and frequently refers to aspects of it on his co-hosted radio show with Tony Martin. He has allegedly attempted various manoeuvres from the first ten (10) minutes of the movie, but without success.

When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. --Mikecraig 06:45, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures

[edit]

I have a couple of photos of Ed taken from the television (Thank God You're Here, KFC ad) but am unsure if they are acceptable on wikipedia. The help pages don't really cover that off? AnotherPaul 13:07, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe there is a licence regarding TV screenshots - have a look at the licening when you are uploading the pic

Vandalism

[edit]

I love how these anon IP address losers do their vandalism with poor spelling and grammar! --Mikecraig 03:15, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is rather amusing to note that this is the only Get This host page which is not vandalised, for now at least.Azzaman333 17:28, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I love the fact that even Ed Kavalee's Talk page is constantly vandalised! --DH85868993 04:22, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like people have nothing better to do than vandalise pages...as opposed to learning, reading and assisting in the editing of wikipedia properly. --Mikecraig 02:27, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If people have a loggin that measn they cant be lossers? Yes people should take pride in their vandalism and use correct english, spelling and formating. Just like muggers should say excuse me BEFORE! they stick the gun in your ribs and Thank You after you give them your money.

Then again the lossers on the show do encourage the vandalism!--Ed Kavalee 11:32, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sexuality

[edit]

So is Ed Kavalee gay, or is he a ladies man? And how old is he? - Matthew238 07:35, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Im 27, Well that depends what are you offering me? I have a friend Tony he can join in if you like--Ed Kavalee 06:57, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe that Ed is gay. I know whatever he says on air is debateable, but he's mentioned that he has a girlfriend that is overseas and has discussed some situations where he was asking women out. Sorry to disappoint you... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.208.149.43 (talk) 23:45, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I deal with Dickinson. Ed Kavalee 19:05, 23 October 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.40.217.145 (talk) [reply]

Unverified material removed

[edit]

In the same way as I did with the Tony Martin article, I have removed all unverified and unsourced material from this article. WP:BIO must be, and in fact will be, strictly adhered to on this article. --Ta bu shi da yu 18:25, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is relevant because it was said on Get This, Download Get This episode 1-163. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.2.96.135 (talk) 12:30, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article under semi-protection

[edit]

This article is being persistently vandalised by anonymous editors, therefore I am putting it under semi-protection. - Ta bu shi da yu 02:16, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Meatpie Film

[edit]

I just wanted to ask should there be something mentioned on this site about Ed seeming as though he regrets being a part of the Meat Pie film that currently has its trailor on YouTube? Just that he mentioned on "Get This" that he had to pull Tony aside and let him know that he had a skeleton in the closet, so Tony remarked with that they had to make all the Jokes about it first, so to take the fire out of other people looking to do the same. I can find out what podcast it was from just wanted to get some opinions first as to if it should be here or not. --MattyC3350 22:01, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not overly notable, would need crediable 3rd party sources (media/newspapers..etc) before consideration I would think. --Mikecraig 22:35, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Black Thunders

[edit]

I could've sworn that the Black Thunders were Fox FM and other Austereo network radio stations (2day fm, B105 fm etc) vehicles, but Triple M had Rock Patrol and then Freq team and now the MMM street team or something. I wont edit until I'm 100% certain124.181.62.103 (talk) 04:57, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes they are Triple M, so that commemt should be removed thanks.--Ed Kavalee 07:14, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So who is going to edit this and remove this incorrect material?--Ed Kavalee 11:15, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the bigger question is, is how your going to prove your Ed Kavalee --MattyC3350 22:07, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Why bother with this users comments--Mikecraig 22:49, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say my question is justified, as wikipedia is "about" true facts, not misleading info124.181.62.103 (talk) 04:57, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ed Image

[edit]

I have a image of Me and Ed when I caught him walking through a shopping centre and ask to take a photo with me. Is it against the rules of Wiki if I crop myself out of the photo and place it up on his page? --MattyC3350 21:58, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Should be fine I think, but best to check on Wikipedia:Image copyright tags first --Mikecraig 22:32, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ed's MySpace Page

[edit]

Just wondering could ed's myspace page be added to the external links or is that against wiki policy? --MattyC3350 (talk) 08:58, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at WP's policy External links, it says "Except for a link to a page that is the subject of the article or an official page of the article subject, and not prohibited by restrictions on linking, one should avoid - Links to social networking sites (such as MySpace)" so from this I guess it could be on there if it's actually his? --Mikecraig (talk) 22:14, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I dont think there is much point to placing it here now. I noticed on one of the last couple of podcasts Ed said that he does not go to it anymore due to "Stalking". Thanks for the info anyways dude --MattyC3350 (talk) 04:48, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nova's Drivetime show

[edit]

I'm listening to it right now and he isn't on it. I don't believe he is a permanent fixture of the program, he just fills in every now and thenCamm1987 (talk) 04:06, 31 January 2008 (UTC) Clearly I was wrong... no more wil & Lehmo i guess lolCamm1987 (talk) 06:55, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think Ed has been made the new anchor for the Wrong Way Home, i'll try to find some info regarding the it though 58.168.130.22 (talk) 08:32, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Engorged Man-Brute" ??

[edit]

under careers section is written "Ed hopes that this show will compensate for the troubles he currently suffers in attracting females in regards to the size of his phallus when erect. Thus he will retain the title of an 'Engorged Man-Brute'." someone needs to edit 58.178.201.27 (talk) 06:56, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is true, I can confirm it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.169.77.135 (talk) 14:50, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
