The article has been PRODed three times now. I did the first, but would never have done the 2nd or 3rd, because it is against the policy here. By definition, a PROD is for "uncontested deletion". No rationale has to be given to remove a PROD tag (one of the few times removing a maintenance tag is ok without summary), it just means that the deletion is contested. If someone wants to AFD it, so be it, but continuing to PROD the article after it is already established that deletion is NOT "uncontested" can only be seen as disruptive. If there is any question, consult WP:PROD which CLEARLY STATES: An article may be PRODed only once. It also clearly states If any person (even the author him/herself) objects to the deletion (usually by removing the --proposed deletion-- tag - see full instructions below), the proposal is aborted and may not be re-proposed. It also goes on to CLEARLY SAY that giving a rationale to removing a PROD is NOT required. Obviously, it is preferred, but it is never required. Now can we please be done with this silly PROD war.
