The name "Clarissa Davis" directs to a page on a fairly recent basketball player, not the escaped slave the article intended it to reference. 12.200.121.194 (talk) 14:25, 27 December 2012 (UTC)Christy Cook 12.27.12[reply]

A Pinnacle of Black hope

[edit]

The article I just read is very important. The Crafts played a major part in making black history. Escaping and making it to England was very astonishing, it took high mental strength and a great will to go beyond what they were capable of. This was a great read .To Ellen and William Craft you inspired us ❤️. 77.246.52.154 (talk) 03:06, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Some racists Americans

Cannot stand by them calling the mom a whore. 2A02:1811:2C1B:BC00:1468:1069:E997:92E3 (talk) 08:51, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Some more racist Americans

[edit]

We do not think William and Ellen can be accused of misusing the funds after their contributions to black rights in a time of low to no wages for blacks under the black code in the south. There is no evidence pointing to William and Ellen. The year and law points to the law and the court and interracial status of this good couple. They were not allowed to live moderately comfortably after decades of slavery. Even in Boston, the culture was still at low or no wages for blacks and freedmen. 2A02:1811:2C1B:BC00:1468:1069:E997:92E3 (talk) 16:02, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
