Page Title[edit]

I think the title of this page should be "Florida State Legislature." This will give a standard to follow. Probably ought to go higher, worldwide. See (for example) Parliament of Victoria, which, out of the blue, might be taken by an American as something convened by the Queen in England, for some special purpose. The context of "Victoria" is totally lost until the reader sees the article. With everyone making such a fuss over Georgia (state/nation), I'm a little surprised. But anyway... I guess I tend to agree but other states, like in Australia and Brazil, etc. ought to be consulted/told (? :). And provinces/departments should follow similar rule for consistency IMO.

And (ouch!) following my own preferences for very objective (and therefore boring) names, it probably should be "Legislature of the State of Florida", "Parliament of the State of Victoria." Student7 (talk) 14:38, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Guess I'm late to this discussion, but I believe the title of this page should be the official name of Florida's legislative body, as the body refers to itself -- which is "Florida Legislature" -- and is the name given in several parts of the Florida Constitution. What sources suggest that "Florida State Legislature" is the name of the body? –Prototime (talk · contribs) 16:22, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can't cancel my fla medicade[edit]

Have called SS and medicade, nobody knows how to cancel it had to move out of state as no affordable housing... I've called state reps, attorney general's, congress, nobody can cancel medicaid, why? Who can I need this to get my medications and treatment in Indiana, but can't get medicade here till fl is canceled...help me...i very sick and this is nonsense...who will cancel Medicaid, nobody knows, I've called every government branch with no results, I also have broken back, just who can get my medicade canceled, and before you send me Numbers for Medicaid, I've called them all, every day, and go round and round, nobody knows how to do it...help me...who knows how to get this done for me...full blown withdrawals because our fricken government agencies can't cancel my medicade...what the heck is going on....thanks for making me very sick fla...you got me signed up but ya can't get me signed out, I'm calling a lawyer, I'm calling the news channels, there is no one else in our government to contact.im not going down easy, may e they can show me on the news in the middle of my withdrawals that is all Florida fault...think I won't...I am ..just get my medicade canceled in Florida, so I can live my life without the pain and withdrawals because of nobody in our government has any common sense...what the heck...and sleep, what the heck is that????
