surname?[edit]

if she filed for divorce, would she not change her back to her maiden name? possible reasons for not, follow; but it seems more realistic if she did change it.

  • they both had the same surname. doesnt mean they were related, as Jones is a common name (Harriet Jones, Ianto Jones, Eugene Jones)
  • she chose to keep the name, though it seems unlikely
  • her name was Jones, not Clive's; which means he has a different surname.
  • she has changed her name, but is still called Jones, because they were married along time and/or to keep in synch with her childrens' names; which would make it easier for other people.
I'm not an expert on the subject, but divorced women are, in my experience, about as likely to keep their married name as they are to change it back (unless, of course, they remarry). Certainly, both happen. -- Noneofyourbusiness 04:21, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where does the bit about her appearing in 42 come from? --OZOO (vote saxon) 16:42, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
