Brutus?

[edit]

Wasn't he nicknamed "Brutus" because of his resemblance to Popeye's nemesis? I watched Capes perform a lot of times during his Strongman era and almost every commentator commented on his Brutus nickname. If I am right, I think this nickname should be included. wjmt (talk) 01:32, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think some good source(s) would be needed. Martinevans123 (talk) 17:13, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dauphinoise?

[edit]

Pommes dauphinoise is a dish of sliced potatoes and cream, baked in an oven: it is not a variety of potato. Why would Capes be shifting 20 tonnes of the stuff? AuntFlo (talk) 01:07, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Twenty tonnes of dauphinoise. Fuck me. --95.146.238.218 (talk) 17:37, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Geoff Capes is not gay!

[edit]

The second paragraph of this awful bio says Geoff Capes has a long term male partner called John Kelly. This is just a lie. His long time partner, Kashi, is female and he has grand children. Here's a picture of them: http://www.lea-budgerigar-society.co.uk/enter.htm

Who would write something like that! Someone at Wiki better change it - it is still libelous to call someone a homosexual when they are not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.139.39.214 (talk) 01:25, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia allows anyone to edit. When WP:BLP violations occur, we have to remove them. Its a constant battle. Trackinfo (talk) 02:14, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source for the claim that Geoff Capes played Darth Vader in some scences of Empire Strikes Back?
