Ali's Article Critique[edit]

When reading this article, I felt as if there was a lot of statistics about Gino and what he did, but there is absolutely no citation i the article to prove that this information is valid. Also, one of the main sources of information that did distract me in the fact that Gino was suspended on hockey for failing to attend an AHL team in Utah. I wish this article would explain a little more information about this and about the suspension. Also what did really stick out to me is that fact that Gino had in one season over 200 penalty minutes, and in another season over 300 minutes. By the article talking about the suspension, the amount of penalty minutes, and the fact that he was an enforcer, this makes the article to be perceived in a biased manner, in the fact that Gino is an aggressive player. Finally, in the section of the article about Gino's later life and after his retirement it stated that Gino got a terminal disease (AL amyloidosis) but never explained what happened to Gino. Joe's Article Analysis[edit]

Is the article well-written - i.e. Is it concise, clear, and easy to read?

A number of grammatical errors make this article difficult to read. Several long, run-on sentences are included throughout the article which could easily be broken into smaller sentences. This is especially noticeable in the "Early Life" section of the article. I also feel there is unnecessary describing of Odjick's blood disorder. The link to the article for the disorder itself is adequate for describing it and the inclusion of his doctors opinion is not needed or appropriate. Mother’s name incorrect[edit]

At end of article, should say Joe and Giselle predeceased Gino 209.226.231.37 (talk) 13:47, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
